Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Sunrise Vista.

Who We Are

We are a group of community-minded citizens who enjoy coming together to do good works, enjoy each other's company, and make a difference for children in Vista and throughout the world. There are Kiwanis Clubs in 96 countries around the globe, with over 600,000 members

What We Do

Sunrise Vista is one of the larger clubs in Division 37, with over 70 members. We sponsor the Key Club at Vista High School, and honor a Student of the Month from Washington or Lincoln Middle Schools. We provide scholarships to graduating seniors from all four high schools in Vista (Vista High, Rancho Buena Vista, Alta Vista and Guajome Park Academy.) We support many community groups including the Vista Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics,  Project Care, Green Oak Ranch, the Burn Institute and Operation Hope. We raise money to support these organizations, as well as providing hands-on assistance when needed. We are partnering with the cities of Vista, San Marcos and Escondido, as well as other organizations, to provide hurricane relief to the Gulf Coast region.

Our fun(d)raisers include an annual golf tournament, a food booth at the Scottish Highland Games in Brengle Terrace Park, and last summer we began a cooperative  effort with the City of Vista to bring the San Diego Symphony to the Moonlight Amphitheater for the first ever North County Summer Pops. (Follow the link on the left to read about this year’s event.)

Our meetings are from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday mornings, at the Gloria McClellan Senior Center in Brengle Terrace Park, Vista. If you are interested in being a guest at one of our breakfast meetings, use the Contact us link at the left, and a member will get in touch with you.
